Muraho Trading Company was founded by two brothers, Karthick and Gaudam Anbalagan, who are driven to showcase to the world what Rwanda specialty coffee is all about. This coffee comes to us from their newest washing station, Cyesha, which they acquired in December 2021. Cyesha combines high altitude, volcanic soil, and wind flow from nearby Lake Kivu, with high standards and immaculate attention to detail to create the best quality specialty coffee possible.
This offering is a natural process- ripe red cherries are sorted in thin layers on African drying beds, turned every 30 minutes, and dried for an average of 43 days, resulting in an incredibly sweet profile. We tasted juicy raspberry and tangerine acids with chocolate syrup sweetness. This one won't be around long-- enjoy while you can!
